Job Summary
Follow a written plan of care by a registered nurse to provide personal care, household support, and companion services to adults at home. Perform activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and toileting; assist with meal preparation and feeding; and conduct vital sign checks. Support clients with range of motion exercises, ambulation, and transfers using mechanical lifting devices while maintaining light housekeeping and laundry duties. Work on a per visit basis across Southern New Castle, Kent, and Sussex counties in Dover, adhering to a schedule that allows flexibility for work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of work experience
- Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course
- 75-hour Home Health Aide certification
- Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned
- Passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others
- Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability
