Job Summary
Provide compassionate personal care and support for clients in their homes, including assisting with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting. Monitor vital signs, administer medication assistance, and support oral feeding and hydration. Perform safe transfers and ambulation using mechanical lifting devices, while conducting range of motion exercises and light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making. Promote client safety, comfort, dignity, and independence throughout Hudson County, NJ. Weekday daytime availability required with reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification
- Minimum of one year of Home Health Aide experience
- Successful completion of a recognized Home Health Aide training program
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Successful completion of the BAYADA Competency Evaluation
- Ability to meet all New Jersey state requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to travel between client homes throughout Hudson County
- Weekday daytime availability
