Job Summary
Home Health Aide (CHHA) needed to provide in-home, one-on-one care for elderly clients in Lakewood, NJ. Shift available 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM with up to 56 hours per week and consistent daytime hours. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene; providing companionship and emotional support; meal preparation and daily routines; light housekeeping and laundry; maintaining a safe home environment; giving reminders and cueing; and observing/reporting changes in condition to the care team. Requires valid New Jersey CHHA certification and current physical exam; reliable transportation. Dementia/Alzheimer's care experience preferred but not required; newly certified CHHAs encouraged to apply. Sign-on and referral bonuses, weekly pay, and supportive team are highlighted advantages.
Required Qualifications
- Valid New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) Certification
- Current physical exam
- PPD, QuantiFERON, or chest X-ray as required
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate and professional attitude
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care preferred, but not required
- Newly certified CHHAs are encouraged to apply
