Job Summary
Conduct personal care, bathing, dressing, and grooming while assisting with activities of daily living. Provide mobility and transfer assistance, prepare meals, and handle light housekeeping and laundry. Remind clients of medications and offer companionship, while observing and reporting any changes in client condition. Work Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Current New York State HHA certification and at least one year of caregiving experience are required. Reliable transportation may provide access to additional cases throughout Nassau County.
Required Qualifications
- CURRENT NEW YORK STATE HHA CERTIFICATE REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience
- Current physical and PPD/QuantiFERON documentation
- MMR documentation
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Reliable and professional
- Compassionate approach to client care
