Job Summary
Home Health Aide (CNA, HHA) needed for private home in Ada, MI. Provide in-home personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and companionship to support client independence. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers with assistive devices, recording basic vitals (if trained), light housekeeping, and ensuring a safe, nurturing home environment. Requires Michigan CNA certification or HHA training/certification, and BLS within 90 days. Education: high school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree preferred. Must be able to lift/carry 50+ pounds occasionally, communicate effectively, have reliable transportation, and comply with health and safety standards. Schedule currently includes 10am–10pm coverage across each day of the week.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, associate’s degree or higher is preferred.
- Certification: Michigan CNA certification through an approved state program, or Home Health Aide training and certification per Michigan Home Care Organization guidelines.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days of employment.
