Job Summary
Providing in-home, visiting certified Home Health Aide services to clients in Southern California, including CA/Orange, LA, Riverside, San Bernardino, and surrounding counties. The role entails delivering personal care (baths, dressing, oral hygiene, shampoos, linen changes), assisting with daily activities, meals and nutrition, monitoring temperatures and vital signs, aiding in ambulation and range-of-motion exercises, assisting with medications per plan of care, performing light household tasks related to care, and maintaining accurate documentation. Requires CPR certification, an active HHA license, a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle, and the ability to read and follow written instructions while providing compassionate, self-directed care. Per diem schedule, on-the-road service delivery, and a strong emphasis on safety, empathy, and professional conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
