Job Summary
Conduct personal care including baths, oral hygiene, toileting, and skin care while assisting with dressing, ambulation, and medication administration. Prepare nutritious meals, assist with feeding, and maintain living areas and laundry. Monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure when ordered, and report patient condition changes to the assigned nurse. Adhere to documentation standards and safety protocols for equipment and procedures. Maintain current HHA license, CPR certification, and valid driver's license. Work per diem on the road providing compassionate in-home support to diverse clients.
Required Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements in accordance with State and Federal laws
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and impaired
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
- Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
- Licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with Organization
- Must have a valid and active HHA License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
