Job Summary

Manage all aspects of the home renovation process from hiring contractors and coordinating schedules to managing inspections and ordering materials. Oversee turnkey set-up of new modular homes, including researching prospectuses, securing permits, and ensuring adherence to community standards and budgets. Drive minor capital improvement projects such as clubhouse remodels and infrastructure upgrades from concept to completion across a regional territory. Lead on-site construction meetings with contractors, engineers, and consultants while cultivating relationships with architects and inspectors. Provide guidance to the operations team on unforeseen projects and ensure safety standards comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines. Travel is required, including some overnight trips, utilizing commercial transportation and personal vehicles as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field (engineering, construction management, architecture, real estate development) or equivalent education or experience
  • 7+ years of professional experience, specifically in asset management or construction management
  • Certified Associate in Project Management or Project Management Professional Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
  • Thorough knowledge of general construction guidelines and standards
  • Must have advanced computer skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc
  • Knowledge of construction practices and labor costs in construction, plus a good knowledge of the uses and costs of materials
  • Ability to multi-task, which requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a process improvement oriented mindset
  • Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State and Federal guidelines
  • Solid understanding of local, state and federal building code requirements
  • Use independent judgment to analyze, troubleshoot and have make decisions
  • Travel is required, including some overnight trips
  • Individual must have the ability to travel via all forms of commercial transportation as required and have the ability/access to drive a vehicle
