Job Summary
Home Delivery Supervisor at St. Mary’s Food Bank leads and develops a logistics-focused team supporting the Home Delivery Program. Responsibilities include onboarding, coaching, and creating/implementing SOPs, supervising logistics associates and CSRs, designing training materials, tracking program metrics, coordinating with Marketing and other internal teams, and driving process improvements to ensure efficient delivery operations, data accuracy, and high client satisfaction. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of related experience, at least 3 years managing employees, strong communication and organizational skills, ability to lead initiatives, and proficiency with Microsoft tools. The role involves cross-department collaboration, adherence to regulatory requirements, and the potential to lift up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced, non-profit environment in Arizona (Phoenix area).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years minimum work-related experience
- At least 3 years of demonstrated success directly managing employees
- Strong organization skills, accurate, and detail-oriented
- Strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly and adapt to change
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to establish and manage work priorities, activities and timelines to achieve results
- Exhibits sound judgment and swift decision-making skills
- Exhibit strong attention to detail
- Ability to think creatively and come up with solutions
- PC skills including working knowledge of the Microsoft environment and the ability to access, manipulate, organize and relay information in a meaningful way
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
