Job Summary
Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customer doorsteps on time, ensuring vehicles remain organized, clean, and roadworthy before operating in diverse locations. Serve customers by answering questions, managing substitutions, and communicating delays while building product knowledge to offer recommendations. Rotate between delivery duties and general store support as needed. Proficient driving of large vehicles in busy and narrow areas is required, alongside comfort with physical tasks like moving 15KG containers and using new digital tools. In-cab AI cameras monitor driver behavior for compliance. Market-leading benefits include a 10% discount card, free food and drinks, pension matching up to 7.5%, and share schemes.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient driving a large vehicle in different locations, from busy residential streets to narrow country lanes, and delivering to a variety of residential properties
- Comfortable in learning to use new digital tools and technology to do your job brilliantly
- Moving shopping containers up to 15KG
- You'll be fully trained in a variety of skills
