Job Summary
Deliver groceries to customers in Taunton, Somerset using a 3.5 tonne van, ensuring on-time and secure delivery and assisting with substitutions or customer questions. Perform van checks, keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy, and provide excellent doorstep service. Build knowledge of products, services, and promotions to offer recommendations. When not delivering, assist across the store as needed, and adapt to a fast-paced, physical environment with training to learn new skills and use digital tools.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient driving a large vehicle (3.5 tonne van)
- Ability to lift/move shopping containers up to 15kg
- Good customer service skills and courtesy
- Willingness to work flexibly across store duties
- Comfortable using digital tools and technology for job tasks
