Job Summary
Home Delivery Assistant for a newspaper distribution operation. Responsibilities include delivering newspaper routes when contractors are unavailable using a personal vehicle, assisting with special product deliveries, handling complaints and customer calls, submitting weekly hours/mileage logs, and supporting daily office tasks for the district manager. Requires a valid driver’s license, personal vehicle with insurance, ability to read maps/GPS, strong customer service and problem-solving skills, and willingness to work overnight hours (1 am–7 am) on a Sunday through Friday schedule. Eligible candidates should be at least 18 years old and able to work in all weather conditions; background check and drug testing are required. The role is full-time with benefits including health, retirement, and time-off offerings.
