Job Summary
Operate a Class A truck safely while complying with all company, State, and Federal regulations. Deliver all products ordered in a timely manner, maintain accurate daily records of accounts and collected cash, and keep a vehicle operation log. Report any necessary maintenance or problems to the Distribution Supervisor daily and complete all DOT-required reports. Support SQF by maintaining food safety standards, completing job tasks in a sanitary manner, and reporting food safety issues to authorized personnel. Work independently with minimal supervision while representing the Company in a professional manner. Begin a 4-day rotating schedule starting at 2:00 AM.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current, valid CDL
- Reading & writing proficiency (English language) and ability to identify colors
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Multi-tasked Individual
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- one years' driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification
- neat, clean appearance
- ability to pass a DOT (Department of Transportation) exam
- Start 2:00AM, 4-Day Rotating schedule
- Your working hours may be modified in accordance with Company's business needs
- Regularly required to sit, stand and walk
- Regularly required to drive various company owned or operated passenger and commercial vehicles
