Job Summary
In the role of Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services such as general housekeeping and meal preparation, laundry, personal care (getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed), assistance with medications, mobility support, and providing social and emotional support; you may also transport clients to activities or appointments and assist families in keeping clients independent in their own homes. Requires at least 3 months of similar experience, a valid Australian driver’s licence and own insured vehicle, CPR and First Aid, and additional training opportunities through the employer. Based in Collingwood, VIC with guaranteed hours on part-time shifts.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence
- own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- 3 months or more experience in a similar professional role
- experience with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
- CPR and First Aid certification
