Job Summary
Conduct general housekeeping, including making beds, cleaning floors, and laundry, while preparing meals and shopping for aged care clients. Provide personal care by assisting with mobility, showering, dressing, and complex needs such as dementia, alongside delivering social and emotional support. Transport clients to lifestyle activities and appointments, and help family carers by offering respite. Maintain independence in daily problem-solving while adhering to safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- 3 months or more experience in a similar role
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence
- your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Prior to commencement, every preferred candidate must complete a National Police check
- Prior to commencement, every preferred candidate must complete a Work Rights check
- confirm their COVID-19 vaccination status
