Job Summary
Provide in-home aged care support to clients in Orange and surrounding areas, including general housekeeping (beds, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming) and laundry, as well as personal care (getting clients out of bed, showering, dressing) and assistance with medications. Offer mobility support, transport to lifestyle activities or appointments, and social/emotional support; support families by giving carers a break. Requires a minimum of 3 months experience in a similar role, a valid Australian driver’s license with an insured vehicle, CPR and First Aid training. Opportunity to pursue accelerated learning programs to gain Cert 3. Ability to work independently, build positive client relationships, and adapt to client needs. Required Qualifications
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role with personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
- CPR and First Aid training
- Accelerated learning programs to gain professional qualifications (Cert 3)
