Job Summary
In-home aged care worker role providing personal care and domestic support to clients in Shellharbour and surrounding areas. Responsibilities include getting clients out of bed, assisting with medications, mobility support, basic housekeeping (making beds, cleaning, laundry), meal preparation and shopping, transporting clients to activities or appointments, and offering social/emotional support. Requires a Certificate III or higher in Aged Care/Individual Support/Disability, at least 6 months of relevant experience, a valid driver’s licence with an insured vehicle, and CPR/First Aid training. Casual role with potential pathway to permanent part-time; award rate of $43.24 per hour plus super and paid kilometers; training and pre-employment checks required.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- At least 6 months experience in a similar role (personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications)
- Valid Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
