Job Summary
Provide home help and personal care to aged care clients in Dudley and surrounding areas, including general housekeeping (making beds, cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, laundry), meal preparation and grocery shopping, getting clients out of bed, showering/dressing, assisting with medications, mobility support, dementia and high-care needs, social and emotional support, transport to lifestyle activities or appointments, and collaborating with families to support the client’s independence; requires a valid Australian driver’s licence, vehicle, 3+ months in a similar role, and CPR/First Aid training. The role offers guaranteed hours, an award-rate hourly wage, and opportunities for professional qualifications (Cert 3) with additional benefits and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Experience of 3 months or more in a similar professional role with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
- General housekeeping and personal care duties as described in role
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate III (Cert 3) or equivalent professional qualification
- CPR and First Aid training
