Job Summary
Provide aged care clients with home help services including general housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry. Deliver personal care by assisting with mobility, medications, and daily hygiene tasks. Support clients with complex needs such as dementia and facilitate transport to lifestyle activities. Offer social and emotional support while helping family carers take breaks. Casual roles with a view to permanent part-time positions, working days Mon, Wed & Fri. Award rate $43.24 per hour plus super and paid KM's. Requires Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support and six months of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing) or (Aged Care & Disability)
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role that includes personal care, manual handling, hoist training and assisting with medications
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- Must complete a Statutory Declaration
- Must complete a National Police check
- Must complete a Working Rights check
- Must complete a pre-employment functional assessment
