Job Summary
Provide home-based aged-care services to clients in Collaroy and surrounding areas, including personal care (getting clients out of bed, showering, dressing), medication assistance, mobility support, and complex care for clients with high needs such as dementia; perform general housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, and errands; transport clients to activities or appointments; build positive relationships with clients and families; work independently with problem-solving and escalate to a manager as needed; requires Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support/Disability, 6+ months’ experience, a valid driver’s license and own vehicle, CPR and First Aid training, and the ability to participate in ongoing professional development—salary is awarded at an hourly rate with benefits and paid travel (KM) allowances.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
