Job Summary
In the Home Care Worker role, you’ll provide in-home aged care support to help clients maintain independence, including personal care, medication assistance, mobility support, and social engagement. You’ll perform general housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, bed making, laundry, and transport clients to activities or appointments. The role requires a Cert III or higher in Aged Care/Individual Support/Disability, at least 6 months of relevant experience, manual handling and medications familiarity, hoist training, a valid Australian Driver’s Licence with a car, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with care teams. Required Qualifications
- Certificate III or above in Aged Care or Individual Support or Disability
- Experience of 6 months or more in a similar role, with experience in personal care, manual handling, hoist training and medications
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence & own insured, roadworthy vehicle
