Job Summary
Homemaker/Companion needed to maintain a safe, clean home and provide companionship to clients in their residences. Responsibilities include light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, mopping, dishes, laundry, changing bed linens, bathroom cleaning), meal/snack preparation per client/family instructions, maintaining a clean and organized home, providing companionship through conversation and activities, assisting with errands when prearranged, and accurate written documentation of services during shifts. Requires high school diploma or GED (preferred), successful completion of a written competency evaluation, dependable and compassionate attitude, ability to read/write/speak/understand English, and a valid driver’s license with insured vehicle or reliable transportation. Work is performed in clients’ homes with potential travel between locations; flexible shifts available (days/evenings/weekends). Must follow agency policies and report concerns to supervisors; strong communication skills emphasized.
Required Qualifications
