Job Summary
SLP Homecare Clinician PV provides speech-language pathology services in the patient’s home across Anne Arundel County, Baltimore County and Baltimore City. Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment planning for dysphasia, oral motor and related speech-language therapies, coordinating with the health care team, documenting medical records per agency and regulatory standards, arranging for specialized assessments as needed, and supervising home health aides. Requires ACOTE-accredited OT program graduation (licensure in DC/MD/VA as applicable), 1-2 years clinical experience, CPR, and valid driver’s license. Role emphasizes multidisciplinary collaboration, compliance with regulations, and patient/caregiver education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an ACOTE-accredited educational program in Occupational Therapy
- 1-2 years clinical experience
- Registered License to practice Occupational Therapy in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia or any combination based on work location(s)
- CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation)
- Valid State Driver’s License in good standing with a dependable vehicle for transportation
