Job Summary
Manage nursing services and compliance for two Home Care branches in Amelia Island, FL and Saint Simons, GA, while delivering direct person-centered care including medication administration, vital sign monitoring, and assistance with activities of daily living. Conduct client assessments, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with physicians and medical personnel to ensure quality care. Support business growth through marketing and outreach to hospitals, physician offices, and senior organizations. This role requires a 24/7 schedule with on-call rotation, weekends, and frequent travel between Nassau County, Florida, and Glynn County, Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Current FL/GA state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- Ability to push up to 250 pounds independently
- Must be able to use proper body mechanics to assist residents in their daily living
- This position regularly requires long hours and frequent night and weekend work
- Travel is expected and required for the proper management of two branches supporting Nassau County, Florida and Glynn County, Georgia
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree desired
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position preferred
