Job Summary
Manage nursing services and compliance for two Home Care branches in Amelia Island, FL and Saint Simons, GA, while delivering direct person-centered care including client assessments, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and activities of daily living. Conduct marketing and outreach to prospects, hospitals, and physician offices to grow business partnerships. Provide hands-on care such as wound dressing, feeding tube management, and Foley catheter insertion, ensuring timely documentation and rapid response to emergencies. Travel regularly between Nassau and Glynn counties for management duties and attend required in-service training. Work a 24/7 schedule with on-call rotation, weekends, and long hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current FL/GA state licensure as a Registered Nurse
- Certifications in CPR, AED, and First Aid
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to use Electronic Records and miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be located in Amelia Island, FL and Saint Simons GA
- Must be available for on-call and weekends (24/7 operation)
- Must be able to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to push up to 250 pounds independently
- Must use proper body mechanics to assist residents
- Must be able to perform frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and climbing
- Must be able to travel for management of two branches supporting Nassau County, Florida and Glynn County, Georgia
- Must be able to deliver some person-centered care based on the needs and interests of clients
- Must be able to provide proper and timely administration of medications and treatments
- Must be able to provide accurate verbal and written reports
- Must be able to respond rapidly to any/all emergency situations
- Must be able to perform Resident Examination and Assessment (Head to Toe Assessment and Admission Note)
- Must be able to perform Daily Med A Note
- Must be able to perform Foley Catheter Insertion: Male or Female Resident
- Must be able to perform Winyah Medication Administration Audit tool
- Must be able to perform Oxygen Administration
- Must be able to perform Dressings, Dry/Clean – Wound
- Must be able to perform Feeding Tube, and Feeding Tube Care
- Must be able to perform client assessments
- Must be able to record of vital signs
- Must be able to assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility
Desired Qualifications
- Four-year college or university degree
- Two years' experience in a similar healthcare position
- Proven experience in Home Care or senior care
- Management experience
- Marketing confidence
