Job Summary
HOME CARE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) provides professional nursing services in the patient’s home per the plan of care, participates in interdisciplinary care planning, documents care thoroughly to demonstrate delivered services, and promotes favorable outcomes. Requires current RN licensure, successful completion of nursing education, and strong clinical nursing skills with knowledge of medical record keeping and adult learning principles. CPR certification and ability to use computers are required. Home health experience is preferred. This is a Full Time position in New Hanover/Pender Counties (Wilmington, NC) with a $15,000 sign-on bonus offering, and includes background checks and a drug-free workplace. EOE.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the state in which the branch is located
- Successful completion of nursing education from an approved school of nursing
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term setting
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- CPR certification
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to use a computer and have a working knowledge of a variety of computer applications
- Knowledge of medical record keeping standards
- Knowledge of adult learning principles
- Excellent clinical nursing skills
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal relationships
- Demonstrates accountability for work assignments and professional growth
- Background checks/drug-free workplace
