Job Summary
HOME CARE REGISTERED NURSE (RN) in a full-time role providing professional nursing services at the patient’s home per the plan of care. Responsibilities include actively participating in the interdisciplinary care planning process; delivering nursing care in accordance with the plan of care; promoting favorable outcomes through collaborative practice and resource use; accurate documentation to demonstrate delivered home health services and to support reimbursement and quality improvement; maintaining effective interpersonal relationships; and demonstrating accountability for assignments and professional growth. Requires successful completion of nursing education, current RN licensure in the branch state (NC), at least one year of clinical nursing experience (home health experience preferred), knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles, ability to communicate effectively, computer proficiency, strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and CPR certification. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of nursing education from an approved school of nursing
- Current RN licensure in the state in which the branch is located
- At least one year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or long-term setting
- Home health experience preferred but not required
- CPR certified
