Job Summary
Administer manual exercises and instruct patients in ambulatory and daily-living activities under Physical Therapist direction. Counsel patients on therapeutic regimens, wellness, and health maintenance while documenting progress, range of motion, and care issues through interviews and physical examinations. Clean and prepare therapy equipment and rooms, troubleshoot breakdowns, and maintain supplies. Practice within state licensure requirements and adhere to CMS, federal, and state regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA policies. Manage individual license and certification renewals. Full-time weekday shift (8am-4:30pm) with pay of $30.00-$35.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Licensure/Certification: as required by the state
- Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing situations including able to work irregular hours, attend meetings and special events
- Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident's Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years previous experience in home health, hospice or senior care
