Job Summary
Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans utilizing exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to reduce pain and enhance mobility. Implement strategies aimed at improving physical function while continuously documenting sessions, progress, and responses to interventions. Provide education to patients and caregivers on assistive device use and self-care techniques, regularly reassessing goals to modify plans as necessary. Work directly within patients' homes to foster meaningful relationships and facilitate independence across diverse populations recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
- A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
- Competence in word processing
- The ability to utilize electronic health record systems
- A high degree of flexibility
- The ability to adapt to various clinical situations
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in a home care or outpatient setting
- Experience working with assistive devices and rehabilitation technologies
