Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to develop customized treatment plans and utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobilization techniques to aid recovery. Monitor and document patient progress meticulously while providing education to caregivers on assistive device usage. Reassess ongoing needs based on feedback to ensure care strategies align with therapeutic goals. Work onsite in home care settings with diverse patients, including children and adults recovering from injuries, surgeries, and neurological disorders. Maintain licensure in New Jersey and hold a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
- valid physical therapy license in the state of New Jersey
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in basic computer skills for documentation and patient management
Desired Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in physical therapy
- Experience in home health care settings
