Job Summary
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore functional independence, evaluating physical and environmental factors to formulate actionable recommendations. Administer therapeutic interventions including manual therapy, exercise programs, traction, and physical agents while regularly reassessing client progress to modify plans as necessary. Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants during patient care to ensure correct treatment implementation and provide education to clients and families regarding conditions and strategies. Maintain accurate clinical records compliant with OASIS and regulatory requirements. Work onsite in client homes in Lehigh Acres, Florida, assessing patients in their natural environments. Requires a Doctorate in Physical Therapy, valid state license, and current CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution
- A valid State Physical Therapy license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- A valid driver's license and automobile insurance to facilitate travel to client homes
- A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt treatment plans when necessary
