Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy and exercises within patients' homes. Monitor progress, adjust care strategies, and educate families on conditions and preventive measures to enhance recovery engagement. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive support across different settings while maintaining productivity and customer service standards. This full-time role serves a diverse population including orthopedic, pediatric, and neurologic cases, emphasizing evidence-based practices and holistic healing.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in computer skills for documentation and treatment planning
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a home care setting or familiarity with the challenges and dynamics unique to home therapy
- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
