Job Summary
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients recovering from injuries, diseases, or surgeries within their home environments. Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluations. Utilize a wide variety of therapeutic techniques including exercises, stretching protocols, manual therapy, and specialized equipment. Monitor progress closely and document treatments and responses, adjusting therapy plans as necessary to meet patient goals. Provide education and training to patients, caregivers, and families on assistive devices and effective physical therapy strategies. This full-time position is based onsite, where you will travel to the homes of patients within the Cypress area.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related setting
- Experience in home care or outpatient therapy
- Experience providing physical therapy to geriatric populations
- Experience providing physical therapy to pediatric populations
