Job Summary
In-home per diem Occupational Therapist position across Cliffside Park, NJ and surrounding towns. Responsibilities include accepting and treating patients within geographic area, delivering 1:1 OT services, evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans per physician orders, documenting care, educating families and caregivers, planning and carrying out OT programs to improve or restore function, and ensuring adherence to professional standards and agency policies. Must be licensed or eligible for OT in New Jersey, able to travel to patients' homes, willing to treat geriatric patients, and comfortable with flexible per diem scheduling. Offers 1099 and W-2 options, plus opportunities for professional growth and development; remote work not indicated.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in New Jersey or eligible
- Ability to travel to patients' homes within the assigned geographic territory
- Willingness to treat geriatric patients
- Excellent documentation and timely communication
- Experience in home health or preference as described is a plus
- Program graduate or eligible for OT credential in NJ
- Ability to work per diem with flexible schedule
- Proficiency with EMR and adherence to plan of care
