Job Summary
Conduct personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and light housekeeping for clients in their own homes while providing companionship and daily activity support. Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs, maintaining professional boundaries and safeguarding standards throughout the 12-week induction and training programme. Operate within the 7:00am to 10:00pm visiting care service window, requiring alternate weekend availability or daily Saturday/Sunday coverage under zero hours or part-time contracts. Earn £13.50–£14.50 per hour with real-time travel time and 45p per mile reimbursement. Hold a valid UK driving licence and own vehicle; no prior care experience necessary as full training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Driving Licence
- Own car
- Right to Work in the UK WITHOUT sponsorship
- Alternate weekend availability or every Saturday or every Sunday for contracted hours
- 1 year Home Care experience (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 NVQ in Social Care
- Care Certificate
- Previous care experience in roles such as care assistant, support worker, healthcare assistant, carer and those with care home background
