Job Summary
The Home Care Assistant at Aspire for Well-Being® provides individualized home care services including companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, and transportation to support client independence. Essential functions involve assisting with activities of daily living, observing and reporting any changes in conditions, and maintaining accurate documentation of care services. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills, patience, and flexibility in meeting client needs. The role involves providing specialized care as per training and adhering to safety and health practices. This per diem position may require working non-standard hours and entails local travel as requested by client service plans.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- 1-3 Years’ personal care/home care experience
Additional Requirements
- Medical Screening
- Criminal History Clearance
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Only required if you have not lived in PA for the last 2 years)
- Immigration and naturalization (I-9) Clearance
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License and acceptable MVR (if operating company vehicle)
