Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, shaving, and incontinence care. Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions, accompany patients on errands or medical appointments, and perform light housekeeping. Execute patient-specific activities such as providing hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and blood glucose monitoring. Care for bed-bound patients using lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts. Weekend shift differential and multiple income opportunities available.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform personal hygiene tasks
- Ability to assist with ambulation and transfers
