Job Summary
Home Care Aide to work in patients' homes providing one-on-one care per a care plan. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities (moving in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles), caring for patients by cleaning and helping with personal care, maintaining records of patient care and progress, building relationships with patients, reminding to take medications, engaging patients in exercises or activities. Requires strong verbal and written communication, detail orientation, and organization. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus. Qualifications include High School Diploma or GED, one year of professional experience, Driver’s license, and CPR certification. Schedule includes Sundays 6a-1p and PRN as needed; benefits include Aflac, performance bonuses, training and development, and opportunities for advancement.
