Job Summary
Provide personalized, one-on-one in-home care to clients, including safely transferring clients, assisting with bathing/grooming, mobility support, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and wellness checks. Maintain a healthy home environment, document care notes, and communicate changes to the RN or Care Supervisor. Read aloud, reminisce, or guide simple chair-exercises to keep clients engaged. Expect detailed reporting and collaboration with supervisors. Require completion of an accredited HHA program, at least 1 year of paid home-health experience, valid driver’s license, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year of paid home-health, hospice, or facility experience.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR certification (or willingness to earn within 30 days).
