Job Summary
Home Care Aide provides personalized, one-on-one in-home care including transferring clients, assisting with bathing and grooming, aiding mobility devices, changing linens, light laundry, and maintaining a safe home. Responsibilities include medication reminders, wellness checks, documenting care notes, and reporting changes to the RN or Care Supervisor. Requires completion of an HHA program (or CHHA pathway) and a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach are essential. Flexible scheduling available with part-time and full-time shifts; opportunities for advancement.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program (or equivalent) is required
- If not yet certified, course available to become CHHA
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong written and verbal communication
