Job Summary
Home Care Aide position responsible for direct, one-on-one patient care in clients' homes. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities (transfers, baths, linens, laundry, light housekeeping, personal care), maintaining records of patient care and reporting observations to supervisor, building relationships with patients, giving medication reminders, and engaging patients in exercises or activities. Must have completed an accredited Home Health Aide program, possess a high school diploma or GED, and have one year of prior professional experience; driver’s license is required. CPR certification is preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
