Job Summary
Home Care Aide - Core position providing in-home assistance to seniors and people with disabilities. Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing), light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, transportation to appointments, and medication self-administration. Requires 5 days/week with at least one weekend day, 40 hours/week (20 hours guaranteed), on-call availability, strong communication, reliability, and ability to work with limited supervision. Location-specific NM service areas include Bernalillo, Edgewood, Los Ranchos, Moriarty, Rio Rancho, Tijeras, Carnuel, Albuquerque, NM. Background check and valid transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation; if by car, valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
