Job Summary
Provides in-home personal care to homebound elderly or disabled clients per care plan; performs hygiene tasks (bed bath, sponge bath, hair washing, nail care, oral hygiene), assists with activities of daily living, observes safety and reports changes, documents clinical information, assists with transfers and mobility, supports nutrition and light housekeeping, maintains patient privacy and complies with agency policies; requires active CNA/HHA certification and CPR, Florida licensing, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Clear and Active Certified Nursing Assistant and/or HHA (75 Hours) certification to practice in the state of Florida.
- CPR certification
- 1 year experience working with a Home Health agency preferred
- Updated annual 12 hours of In-Service Training
- Experience working with Alzheimer patients
- Must have knowledge of computer office/clinical software
- Must be able to read, write and understand the English language
