Job Summary
In-Home Care Aide/Caregiver provides companionship and in-home support for clients in the community, assisting with Activities of Daily Living, transportation to appointments, meal plan/prep, monitoring changes in condition, medication support, and light housekeeping. The role emphasizes person-centered caring for individuals who may be aging or living with disabilities, with training available for new entrants. Requires English proficiency, a high school diploma or equivalent, a Washington driver’s license with reliable vehicle and insurance, ability to transport clients, and either a Home Care Aide License or ability to complete required coursework, plus First Aid/ CPR within 120 days.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / Equivalent required
- English language proficiency (written and spoken)
- A valid Washington State Driver’s License, a reliable vehicle, up-to-date auto insurance, and willingness to transport clients
- Home Care Aide License (HCA) OR Ability to complete online and in person coursework
- First Aid/CPR Certification (within 120 days of employment, training can be provided)
