Home Care Aide

Provide one-on-one in-home care to patients, assist with activities of daily living (moving in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles), care for patients by performing tasks such as changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, and assisting with personal care. Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report to supervisor. Build relationships with patients through conversation or reading aloud to keep them mentally engaged. Administer medications and immunizations, and engage patients in exercises or other activities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required; prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus.
