Job Summary
Home Care Aide needed to work one-on-one with patients in patient homes following a care plan. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities (moving in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles), providing personal care and housekeeping tasks (changing bed linens, laundry, cleaning), maintaining records of patient care and progress for supervisor review, building rapport with patients, administering medications and immunizations, and engaging patients in exercises or other activities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required; prior Home Health Aide experience is a plus. Certifications/requirements include completion of an accredited Home Health Aide program, a High School Diploma or GED, one year of professional experience, a 2-step TB test, and a background check.
