Job Summary
Provide in-home patient care per one-on-one care plan: assist with daily activities (moving in/out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, automobiles), care for patients (changing linens, cleaning, personal care), maintain care records, report observations to supervisor, build relationships by conversation or reading aloud, administer medications and immunizations, engage patients in exercises or activities, and ensure a healthy environment. Prior Home Health or Hospice experience is a plus; strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year prior professional experience
- 2 step TB
