Home Care Aide

Provide one-on-one in-home care to patients following a personalized care plan. Assist with daily activities (moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles) and maintain housekeeping tasks (laundry, cleaning). Monitor patient condition, document care activities, and report observations to the supervisor. Engage patients to help keep them mentally healthy and alert; administer medications and immunizations; assist with exercises and other activities. Requires completion of a Home Health Aide program, a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of professional experience; must pass TB screening and a background check.
