Job Summary
Manage restaurant flow by seating guests, maintaining waitlists, and answering questions about the menu and casino operations while wearing proper uniforms and a gaming license if available. Balance the register drawer at shift end, complete daily side work like sanitizing menus, and assist with table cleaning. Perform all duties in compliance with safety standards, health codes, and the Colorado Limited Gaming Act. Maintain positive relations with customers and employees while presenting a welcoming image. Full-time role with $16.00 hourly pay, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and a 401k match, plus paid transportation and gym access.
Required Qualifications
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Punctuality
- Consistent presence during scheduled work hours
- Wearing and maintaining all uniforms properly
- Possession of a gaming license (if in possession)
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with all customers and employees
- Ability to manage the flow of the restaurant
- Ability to seat guests in designated areas consistent with server rotation
- Ability to maintain a waitlist by estimating an accurate time to guests
- Ability to use a pager to signal guests once their table is ready
- Ability to answer questions about the restaurant, menu, and casino operations completely and accurately
- Ability to present a positive and welcoming image to all customers and employees
- Ability to perform all duties in compliance with all safety standards, health standards, internal policies and procedures, and in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
- Ability to assist with cleaning tables and performing other responsibilities as directed
- Ability to complete daily side work, including sanitizing menus
- Ability to balance the register drawer at the end of each shift
- Ability to perform other duties, including special projects, as needed or directed
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Prior knowledge or experience within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment
