Job Summary
Manage restaurant flow by seating guests, maintaining waitlists, and signaling tables via pager while answering questions about the menu and casino operations. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and Colorado Limited Gaming Act standards by wearing proper uniforms and gaming licenses. Balance the register drawer, sanitize menus, clean tables, and perform special projects as directed. Maintain positive relations with customers and employees while presenting a welcoming image. High school graduation preferred; no prior experience required. Full-time role at $16.00/hour with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and paid transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Punctuality
- Consistent presence during scheduled work hours
- Wearing and maintaining all uniforms properly
- Possession of a gaming license (if in possession)
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relations with all customers and employees
- Ability to manage the flow of the restaurant
- Ability to seat guests in designated areas consistent with server rotation
- Ability to maintain a waitlist by estimating an accurate time to guests
- Ability to use a pager to signal guests once their table is ready
- Ability to answer questions about the restaurant, menu, and casino operations completely and accurately
- Ability to present a positive and welcoming image to all customers and employees
- Ability to perform all duties in compliance with all safety standards, health standards, internal policies and procedures, and in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act
- Ability to assist with cleaning tables and performing other responsibilities as directed
- Ability to complete daily side work, including sanitizing menus
- Ability to balance the register drawer at the end of each shift
- Ability to perform other duties, including special projects, as needed or directed
- Demonstrated experience performing within specific deadlines or under pressure
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, organizing, and prioritizing work
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Desired Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Prior knowledge or experience within a hospitality, restaurant, or gaming environment
